KMOV News St. Louis App Reviews

The app has good info and a good interface, but they overdue it on the notifications. Notifications about important things are appreciated, but this app notifies you about almost every article it posts, then notifies you to let you know their news show is about to start! The pointless notifications are overwhelming.

Love it my go to for news!!

Waaaayy too many notifications about random useless things (want to win a car etc). Not user friendly. Went scrolling through you try to scroll to next topic and then all of a sudden an ad pops in between. Also when a notification appears and you click on it to read about it, it ends up being a video that you can never get too. Or "watch at 10" tonight. Dont want to watch at 10 thats why Im looking at the app. Will be deleting.

I had the app for a couple years and didnt used to have as many useless notifications. Everything now is "breaking news only on 4" and is rarely anything of importance (ex: "Food stamps for hairstyles! ONLY on 4"). Deleting the app for other local news app

Every single notification that I click on takes me to a never ending series of video ads. Nice way to make a buck with Click Bait, KMOV. I originally downloaded the app to monitor the weather during a tornadic storm. Even though they have no problem breaking into TV programming, the app wouldnt show the live streaming broadcast until two or more ads played. As I typed this review I received a notification "Final chance to win a Car4Free. Keyword only on News 4 at 10pm". You should be embarrassed KMOV. This app is being uninstalled immediately.

Uninstalling this once good app because now they have been sending way too many notifications about useless news over and over again just trying to lure you into turning on their channel.

This site is not well maintained. Most info is not current, not even news. Really does not qualify as current. Mainly teases with what you can learn from watching the news on tv and never updates with facts. I think it is meant to be satire.

Deleted this app because of the extremely loud Bommarito Dealership commercials!! Every time a news story was selected the commercial would blast trumpets at 2-3 times the normal volume. Stupid!! Drives people nuts.

Wont open at all after recent update. I still receive notifications, though.

App launch is way too slow.
